This year went by really really fast. Yep, it has been a whole year since I wrote my first post-Socius Has Begun. Its purpose really has not changed much at all. I love expressing myself and I love that I have my own little wonderful community that I can connect with. To all of you who have been with me from the start and who have joined along the road, I can’t thank you enough.
I have tried hard to change things up on this site. Many times I shared helpful social media tips. Other times I shared some personal thoughts on various topics. Here are some interesting stats I wanted to share.
The blog post with the most comments was Don’t Lower Yourself to the Social Media Street Gangs. I never thought that this post would create such passionate responses but it certainly did. Thank you to those who were involved in that conversation. The blog post with the most views was How to Permanently Delete a Facebook Page. I guess that is not necessarily surprising since typically How To posts are very Google Friendly.
Overall it has been a big learning experience for me. There was no specific business reason why I started this blog but nonetheless business came. Not only has it been a contributing factor to why The Training Factor is growing but also from a personal branding point of view there has been a great success. I am called upon constantly to provide advice to clients on their social media approach and the number of classes I have been privileged to teach has grown.
So what is the future of this blog? That is what I will be brainstorming on over the next few weeks. I honestly would love to hear from you on that point. Where do you see that I need improvement? Is there content that you think I should focus on? Any comments or counsel, in general, would be greatly appreciated. I do know I am going to change the theme. I am just not happy with the home page and how it portrays the images.
The biggest mission for this blog is to continue to represent it’s title-Socius. It’s all about sharing. It’s all about helping. It’s all about bringing a greater community together. Thank you again for your support and I look forward to your feedback in the comment section below.
