Jonathan Saar launching episode one of My Takes his new podcast

Episode 1 – New Beginning

Hey everyone, Jonathan Saar here—and welcome to episode one of My Takes! I’m so glad you’re here. I wanted to take just a minute to kick things off and give you a feel for what this show is all about. If you’ve followed my journey, you know I’ve been a content creator for a long time—many of you remember JonathanSaar.com. That site has always been one of my favorite creative outlets, and I’m excited to bring that same energy into podcast form.

00:20 – Why “My Takes”?

So why call this show My Takes? Simple—because that’s exactly what you’re getting. These are my thoughts, my reflections, my perspective on everything from marketing to leadership to personal growth. This has always been my space to express what’s on my mind, and I’m inviting you to be part of that.

00:45 – From Blogging to Podcasting

Some of you know I’ve been writing since way back in 2009, and it’s been a journey. Now, I’m bringing that love of writing and storytelling to this podcast. The website is even getting a refresh so it can be the new home for this show. This is just the next step in the evolution of how I connect with you.

01:15 – Content That’s Real

For me, blogging has always been a pure form of content—a way to just get your thoughts out there. Podcasting is no different. This show isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection. It’s about taking a few minutes to say something meaningful and hopefully inspire you to reflect or share your own take.

01:45 – Shoutout and Inspiration

I’ve got to give a shoutout to my friend Mike Brewer—he’s been doing quick, impactful episodes for years and I’ve always admired that. So I figured, why not start something similar? My Takes is going to be short, sharp, and straight from the heart.

Thanks for joining me on this first episode. This podcast is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m thrilled to finally make it happen. I’ll be bringing you short, focused episodes—just me sharing my thoughts and hopefully getting you thinking, too. I appreciate you being here, and I can’t wait to keep the conversation going.
