Facebook comes out with so many new items that it can be a challenge to keep up and some are often overlooked. Apparently back in September 2012 there was an update to the Activity Log on our profile. Facebook now tracks items you search. To me it is pretty important that you know how to use this especially since the open search graph is starting to roll out. Below are a few quick screen shots to help you navigate to see or maybe what you don’t want to see what you have been searching for. (Pardon my red arrows…art is not my strong suit)
1. Go to your Facebook profile and click on your Activity Log

2. In the left column click on the More button

3. Then click the Search button

4. View your search history

So there you have it. Pretty simple. For many the fact that YOU can only see your search history may be comforting. It is very easy to delete any items. What is great about the activity log is that it gives a quick and easy way to filter all posts, pictures, tags etc that you are connected to. It will be interesting to start using the Facebook search graph and see how that will affect not only how we use Facebook personally but also for how we do business.
